Hmm... always rush into combat don't you. Ahhh.... don't deny it, even if you don't someone you know does. It'll do you god to read this, makes you think twice before jumping into combat again.

Table 1: Size vs Roll     Table 2:Die by Weapon Size
Size Class Roll Required   Size of Weapon Die
Gargantuan 19   Huge and above d20
Huge 11   Large d12
Large 9   Man-sized d10
Man-sized 7   Small d8
Small 5   Tiny d6
Tiny 3

Each weapon is assigned a slay roll. Use Table 2 to determine a weapon's slay roll by size, and the DM can modify it as he/she deems appropriate. For weapons of gargantuan size, use d20 unless target is the same size as the weapon. In that case the target and the weapon are both considered man-sized only when the weapon is used against the target.
This die is similar to the knockdown die. For the roll to be successful, you must roll a number higher or equal to the number listed on Table 1. If the roll is successful, the target is instantly slain -- regardless of how many hit points the target has left. For those who think that this rule is rather unbalancing, but like the idea use Table 3. All values on any table shown on this document can and should be modified to suit the situation.
Table 3: More rolls
d10 Effects
1 Roll critical hits chart normally
2 Roll critical hits chart. Raise weapon size by 1 level for rolling purposes
3 - 5 As above. No damage. Target loses ¼ of maximum hit points
6 - 7 As above. Target loses ½ instead of ¼ of maximum hit points
8 As above. Target loses ¾ instead of ½ of maximum hit points
9 As above. Target's hit points drop to 0
10 As above. Target is slain

For Table 3, if you're not using Player's Options: Combat and Tactics (PO: CT) and/or don't have a critical hits chart, use double instead. For those who're using PO: CT, the slay roll comes before the damage roll but after the critical hits chart roll. For those using my armor rule, the slay die is only rolled if the weapon bypasses the target's armor. If you're using my armor points rule, the slay roll does maximum damage to the armor.
